We’ve had our couch for 6 years now. I knew when I picked it that I was going to have to get a fabric shaver because the fabric would pill and wear. It’s not fun to sit on a couch that has scratchy bumps on it. Fabric shavers can be used for more than just furniture, you can use them on sweaters and towels and all kinds of other things that need the top layer taken off. I used it on my knit tree skirt a couple of years ago and it looked almost brand new!
